The southwest loop-line of the Guiyang urban express railway will soon open to traffic – making Guiyang the first provincial capital with such a system – in a development expected to contribute to the city's urban space optimization, economic development and public transportation service.
The Southwest Loop Line of the Guiyang Urban Express Railway in the city of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, entered the joint debugging and testing stage on Aug 19.
Guiyang was recently recognized as a national demonstration city for public transport development, according to a notice issued by the Ministry of Transport.
