Guiyang advances transport infrastructure construction

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been promoting the construction of transportation infrastructure in the first half of this year. 

According to the Guiyang Transportation Committee on July 19, Guiyang has completed rural road safety and life protection projects on 68 roads extending 53 kilometers. 

The dangerous Xiaochao Bridge on the Chaoshui-Dazhai Highway has been demolished and rebuilt, and the Dongjiaping Bridge in local Xifeng county is currently under construction. 

The 100-km high-quality demonstration economic belt has completed the implementation plan according to requirements, mainly involving more than 10 routes in Wudang district, Kaiyang and Xiuwen counties. 

In addition, the construction of Kaiyang Port and roads for the collection and distribution of goods is progressing in an orderly manner, and Guiyang has completed 73 percent of highway construction from Xiaojiaao to Kaiyang Port.
