Guiyang launches shuttle buses for students

Guiyang Public Transport Co's Gui'an New Area branch has optimized its transport capacity allocation and launched school shuttle routes to ensure safe and convenient school access for primary and secondary students in the new semester.

Based on practical considerations such as class schedules and the residential distribution of students, the company has customized eight dedicated school shuttle routes, covering Huchao town and Machang town. These routes adopt a point-to-point dedicated shuttle model, cutting commuting times and resolving long waiting times and lengthy travel distances for the students.

To meet the concentrated travel demand of students during the morning and evening rush hours, the company has allocated transport capacity and optimized bus schedules. Buses depart earlier in the morning to ensure students arrive at school on time, and wait at designated stops in the afternoon to match school dismissal hours, delivering all-round protection to prevent congestion and delays for student commutes.

The company will focus on students' travel patterns, monitor passenger flows on school shuttle routes, and adjust capacity deployment, route planning, and departure times, supporting the high-quality development of education in Gui'an New Area.
