Guiyang Public Transport Co has long explored pathways for corporate transformation and development. The unmanned "Wonder Loop" serves as a successful example of the company's pursuit of smart transportation.
Launched in April in Guanshanhu district's core area, the "Wonder Loop" marks a milestone in public transport reform. It merges autonomous driving with daily commuting, commercial consumption, and leisure‑recreation services, creating a composite service scenario.

Stretching nearly 8 kilometers in total, the loop runs through key urban zones of Guanshanhu district, connecting business districts, urban parks, and large residential communities, with a one‑way travel time of around 20 minutes, precisely catering to the diverse leisure, experience‑seeking, and sightseeing demands of local residents and tourists.
As of Aug 20, the loop has clocked up over 200,000 km of cumulative operating mileage and served nearly 30,000 passengers. Average daily revenue per vehicle stands at around 841 yuan ($125.11), while the mobile KTV‑themed vehicle hit a revenue peak of 2,600 yuan, yielding strong operational results.
With its scenario‑based, youth‑oriented operation strategies, the "Wonder Loop" has gradually grown into a popular tech‑culture‑tourism landmark in Guiyang. Featured on overseas platforms of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, it serves as a vital window showcasing Guiyang's achievements in intelligent manufacturing and digital‑economy development.
Guiyang Public Transport Co will iterate the operation model of the "Wonder Loop", expand its vehicle fleet, upgrade the service experience, and improve its commercial system to build it into a demonstration model for urban smart transportation.
