"To meet the demand of tourists and local residents visiting Luchongguan Forest Park during the summer‑escape season, our company launched the 'Qianxiaolu' special line after field investigations," said Wang Qingdong, a representative of Guiyang Public Transport Co.
Previously, bus stops were located at the foot of the mountain, and visitors needed to climb a steep slope to reach the west gate. Now the route has been extended by more than 2 kilometers to reach the gate, greatly facilitating tourists' travel.
Four buses have been deployed for the line, with transport capacity adjusted according to passenger flows on workdays and holidays. Twenty daily trips are operated on workdays, rising to 26 on weekends.

The first bus departs from the park at 8 am and the last one at 6:30 pm. At Beijing Road Station, the maiden bus of the day leaves at 6:30 am and the last one at 5 pm. The fare is 2 yuan ($0.29) per passenger. The total route covers 7.5 km, with a travel time of nearly 20 minutes under normal conditions.
