State-owned Guiyang Metro has introduced a "Restroom Convenience Pass" that allows residents to access facilities in the metro's paid area that previously required a ticket.

Passengers can apply for the pass at a station's customer service center after completing security screening. Metro staff members can issue one pass per person, allowing holders to enter the station through a designated green channel and use the restroom facilities. Users can then exit through the same green channel with their pass, which is then collected by staff members.
The pass is valid only for restroom use at the station where it is issued. It cannot be transferred to others or used for travel. Anyone found misusing the pass will be treated as a fare evader.
The service is currently available at 31 stations on Guiyang Metro Lines 1 and 2, where restrooms are not located in the station concourse. These include Douguan, Xiamaixi, Guiyang North Railway, Zhongshan West Road, Guiyang Railway, Jinyang Hospital, Yangming Temple, Longdongbao International Airport, and Yunpan stations, among others.
Passengers can follow station signage or consult metro staff members for further information.
