Guiyang launches self-driving experience route

The world's first self-driving mobile space experience route — Qiyu Loop — has launched in Guiyang's Guanshanhu district, having completed multi-scenario road tests on open urban roads, and is scheduled to open to the public starting in the second quarter of this year.

Unlike early-stage technical road tests, the Qiyu Loop takes commercial sustainability as its core, integrating urban robotic products such as RoboBuses (driverless shuttle buses), RoboShops (driverless retail vehicles), and RoboTaxis. It connects major commercial districts, urban parks, and residential communities in Guanshanhu's core areas, forming a value-added mobile services network.

The RoboBus and RoboShop experiences will open in the second quarter of 2026, with a variety of mobile space experiences fully available in both Guanshanhu and the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone by the third quarter. Residents will be able to call up multifunctional robotic mobile spaces on demand, such as mobile makeup lounges, KTVs, and offices.

From the application of self-driving technology to the delivery of cross-border trendy events, the Qiyu Loop is injecting new vitality into Guiyang's urban development.
