Guiyang launches special services for cherry blossom viewing

Guiyang Public Transport Co has rolled out special support services to ensure convenient travel for citizens and tourists during the 2026 Gui'an Cherry Blossom Season, launching multiple shuttle and direct bus lines to create an efficient public transport network for flower viewing.

To match passenger flow patterns and with a focus on "safety, convenience, quality, and efficiency", the company has launched one rail transit shuttle line, two parking lot shuttle lines, and four direct bus lines, providing seamless connections between rail transit, public parking lots, transportation hubs, and the cherry blossom garden.

The rail transit shuttle line (Gui'an Cherry Blossom Line 1) connects Gui'an High-speed Railway Station and Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden Parking Lot 1, passing by Dakecheng Station of Guiyang Metro Line S1. The line fare is 2 yuan ($0.29) per person. The first departure from Gui'an High-speed Railway Station is at 8:30 am, with the last departure at 4 pm. Return trips from Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden Parking Lot 1 run until 6 pm. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes, with intervals adjusted according to passenger demand.

Parking lot shuttle lines (Gui'an Cherry Blossom Lines 2 and 3) are free of charge. Line 2 runs between Cuifeng Road Parking Lot 2 and Danfeng Road intersection, with multiple stops along the route, operating from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Service intervals are 10 to 15 minutes on workdays and 5 to 10 minutes on weekends and public holidays.

Line 3 is a circular route covering areas including Huangmao Village Parking Lot 3, Huafeichang Road intersection, and Wangjiayuan village. It starts operation at 8:30 am, while after 17:00, additional shuttle services will run between Miaopu Road intersection and Huangmao village to ensure convenient return trips for tourists.

The direct bus lines connect Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden with Guiyang Railway Station, Guiyangbei Railway Station, Guiyangdong Railway Station, and Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport.

Among them, the routes serving Guiyang Railway Station and Guiyangbei Railway Station operate on a fixed schedule with five departures per day. The fare is 20 yuan for a one-way ticket and 38 yuan for a round trip. Passengers must return on the same bus at the scheduled time.

The routes for Guiyangdong Railway Station and Longdongbao Airport adopt an on-demand reservation model. Passengers are required to make a reservation via the "Qianshuang Bus" WeChat mini program before 7 pm on the day prior to departure. Buses will depart once at least 30 reservations have been made. 

Guiyang Public Transport Co will dynamically adjust transport capacity to match passenger demand and ensure high-quality service, making the cherry blossom-viewing trips more comfortable and smoother for both residents and tourists.
