Guiyang Public Transport Co upgrades services in 2025

Guiyang Public Transport Co saw a total passenger volume of over 270 million in 2025, with a daily average of 745,700 passenger trips. The number of customized bus routes exceeded 1,000.

In response to structural changes in passenger flow brought about by the rail transit network, the company has adhered to the principles of "stabilizing scale, adjusting structure, and improving efficiency". It has optimized its network layout, strengthened the connection between micro-circulation bus routes and rail transit, and extended the reach of services.

Throughout the course of the year, the outreach activities covered approximately 400,000 people and reached nearly 30 towns and townships. Through village meetings and public forums, the company engaged the community on topics such as route planning and station setup, resulting in 164 cooperation agreements.

Continuing to develop the "public transit + N" model, the total number of customized special routes now exceeds 1,000, covering multiple scenarios such as commuting, school transport, and cultural tourism, serving nearly 11.14 million passengers annually. Special tourist routes connecting rail transit hubs with core scenic spots were also launched to support the development of the summer tourism economy.

The company formed partnerships with leading enterprises, including SF Express, JD Logistics, and Trip.com. New business models, including unmanned minibuses, were introduced in Huaxi University Town and the Huangguoshu Waterfalls Scenic Area.

A total of 39 "farm to market" bus routes were launched. In 2025, these routes served a total of 613,800 farmers and passengers, transporting more than 1,400 metric tons of fruits and vegetables.  

Operational innovations included an on-demand micro-circulation route on Bus Line V8 with reservation services and 15 high-frequency core routes to promote the transformation of public transit service models.

Additionally, the company provided transportation support for more than 30 major events, including the Guizhou ethnic parade, Guiyang Marathon, and City Football Super League, safely transporting about 170,000 passengers in total and achieving "zero accidents and zero complaints".
