Guiyang Public Transport completes guarantee task for concert

Guiyang Public Transport Co has completed the task of public transportation guarantee during the 25th anniversary concert tour of Mayday from Sept 12 to 14 with a high sense of responsibility and professional operational capabilities, becoming an important support for the conclusion of the concert.

Faced with high passenger demand during the concert, the company's Northern Operations Branch, together with Qianshuang Bus, strategically allocated transportation capacity and used more than 300 large buses to evacuate fans and nearby people in case of emergency. They also completed comprehensive safety inspections in advance on more than 10 regular routes passing through the Olympic Sports Center, including bus lines 77, 95, and 208, ensuring a 100 percent attendance rate for vehicles.

By monitoring the changes in passenger flow at various points in real time, the company flexibly adjusted the departure frequency, maximized transportation capacity, and effectively alleviated instantaneous travel pressure.

As of the end of the concert on Sept 14, a total of 370 public transportation vehicles had been deployed in Guiyang, safely transporting over 20,000 people. From network planning to on-site scheduling, the company has built a safe and smooth transportation network for this city-wide event.
