To mark the 9th anniversary of the opening of the Guiyang-Macao route, Air Macao and Macao International Airport Co hosted a "Window to Macao" promotional event from June 20 to 22 at the MIXC Mall in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
As of May, the route has operated over 500 flights, serving nearly 60,000 passengers and handling close to 100 metric tons of cargo. With seamless connections through Macao International Airport, Air Macao offers travelers from Guizhou access to 12 destinations across Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and more.
Air Macao has also launched themed travel packages featuring Guizhou's major attractions. By harnessing the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, the airline has attracted large numbers of international tourists from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and South Korea. As of May, nearly 30,000 visitors from outside Chinese mainland have arrived in Guizhou via Air Macao, injecting new energy into the local tourism industry.
During the "Window to Macao" event, Air Macao unveiled a range of promotional airfare deals, including exclusive joint products with Trip.com Group for flights from Guiyang to Macao and onward international connections. Special discounts were also offered for summer family travel and senior passengers.
