Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been selected as a 2025 national pilot city for building a modern commercial and trade circulation system.
As part of the program, the city will receive targeted support in five key areas: integrating urban and rural commerce and trade development, strengthening supply chains for essential goods, improving agricultural product distribution system, fostering major modern logistics enterprises, and enhancing urban-rural renewable resource recycling systems.
The 2025 pilot initiative aims to boost domestic consumption by encouraging innovation and expanding practical measures that enhance the role of commercial and trade circulation in driving spending.
Guiyang bureau of commerce will continue to roll out policy support in line with national guidelines, conduct in-depth research on project priorities, adjust support strategies as needed, and strengthen coordination with other departments to ensure reserve projects meet policy standards.
