"The summer rush this year started on July 1 and will last until Aug 31, a total of 62 days," said a Guiyang Railway Station representative. Since the summer has begun, the passenger flow of Guiyang Railway has increased rapidly, mainly composed of college students, tourists, family visitors, and business travelers.
From July 1 to July 13, the three major railway stations in Guiyang served a total of 1.91 million passengers, with an average of 147,200 passengers per day. The passenger volume of Guiyangbei and Guiyangdong high-speed trains accounts for more than 80 percent of the city's total.
The daily passenger volume of the three major stations may exceed 200,000 soon.

Guiyang Railway utilizes big data to track changes in passenger flow, analyze passenger flow direction, and dynamically adjust train operation plans. By the end of July, over 10 high-speed trains from Guiyangbei will be added, with a maximum daily increase of nearly 9,000 seats.
The railway stations in Guiyang have also strengthened the guidance and organization of passengers entering and waiting for trains during peak hours, increasing verification, security checks, and exit channels to optimize passenger flow lines.
