The railway transportation period for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday is from May 30 to June 3, which is one day earlier and one day later than the national holiday period, totaling five days.
In the first four days, Guiyang's three major railway stations sent a total of 593,000 passengers, with an average of 148,300 passengers per day. The total number of passengers sent and the average daily passenger volume have both set records for the same period in previous years.
In response to the peak return period, the stations have launched a plan for mass passenger flow and implemented a peak line operation schedule. More than 30 high-speed and conventional trains from Guiyangbei to popular directions, including Bijie, Panzhou, Tongren, and Libo, have been added, with an increase of nearly 20,000 seats.
