The G7522 Guiping Expressway Guiyang-Pingtang Sector Project, invested in by Guizhou Transportation Investment Group Co, completed its longest tunnel on May 13, marking a step forward in the project's progress.
This project is an important section of the Guiyang-Beihai Expressway, a key component of the Western Land-Sea Corridor and the most convenient channel from Guiyang to Nanning. It is also a key project for Guizhou to implement the "Strengthening Provincial Capital" campaign.

The project has a total length of 174 kilometers, five hub interchanges, 119 bridges, 36 tunnels, and a designed speed of 100 km per hour. The construction period is expected to last three years, with an anticipated opening by the end of this year.
The project covers various geological conditions in mountainous highway engineering construction. It involves new construction and expansion projects, including eight railway-related projects, seven high-rise projects, and five control projects along the entire line.
The Guiping Expressway's construction is of great significance for improving regional transportation conditions. Once completed, travel time from Guiyang to Pingtang will be shortened to about 1.5 hours, enhancing the convenience of public transportation and promoting regional economic development.
