Guiyang completes transportation connection project

The improvement and upgrading project for the connecting road from Guiyang Metro Line S1's Zaojiaoba Station to Provincial Highway S210 has been completed.

The section, located in Huchao town, Gui'an New Area, has a total length of 1.2 kilometers and a roadbed width of 8.5 meters. As a key node of the transportation network connecting Guiyang and Gui'an New Area, this section has been built according to the second-class highway standard, which improves regional transportation efficiency and travel convenience along the line.

It is also one of this year's key transportation infrastructure projects promoted by the Gui'an New Area highway management bureau. This section, ending at Zaojiaoba Station, is connected to the Provincial Highway S210 through a T-shaped intersection and includes the restoration of original pavements and curbs, construction of new pavement surfaces, and repair to drainage facilities.

This project optimizes traffic signs and enhances landscape greening, transforming the originally rugged rural roads into new high-standard highways. It improves road capacity and enhances traffic safety, improving network connections between Gui'an New Area and Guiyang's urban area.
