Guiyang Metro improves passenger services

Guiyang Metro Line 1 has completed optimizing the gate layout at Guiyangbei Station and Guanshanhu Park Station, accelerating passengers' travel.

The renovation is focused on passenger flow direction and short-term concentrated passenger congestion. At Guanshanhu Park Station, one-way exit gates in the downward direction have been changed to two-way gates. The station can switch between inbound and outbound modes based on real-time changes, improving its ability to cope with large passenger flows.

At Guiyangbei Station, queues at Entrance B during peak periods affected passengers' travel efficiency. By relocating some of the gates between Exit A and Exit B, the passenger flow pressure at Exit B has been effectively dispersed, shortening passenger entry time.

Guiyang Urban Rail Transit Operation Co has continuously optimized and adjusted its spatial layout in recent years. It has taken practical and effective measures, such as adjusting passenger flow direction at Guanshanhu Park Station, Guiyangbei Station, and Longdongbao International Airport Station, improving travel experiences.
