Huaxi Shili Hetan, located next to the national urban wetland park of Huaxi, Guiyang, is known as an ecological "oxygen bar" and natural "air conditioner". Its mild climate and fresh air make it a great place to enjoy wetland scenery and relax. The Shili Hetan, or the 10-mile riverbank, spanning over 6,000 meters and covering an area of over 2,000 square meters, is a "green dragon" strip that seamlessly blends with the mountains between Guiyang and Huaxi.

These wetlands store water and reduce flood peaks, regulate climate, conserve trees and grass, improve the environment, and contain extremely rich ecological resources.

Over 1,000 species of plants grow within Shili Hetan, including zelkova, green sandalwood, and peonies, all of which are under national key protection. Rare animals also make their home here, including rock carp, which are featured on the China Red Data Book of Endangered Animals, and national second-class protected species, such as the giant salamander, peregrine falcon, and red falcon.

Exquisite and unique cultural and natural landscapes, such as "Niujiaodao Cultural Square",  "Dongjiayan Lotus Pond" and "Nanmen Fitness Square", create a picturesque backdrop that leaves visitors dazzled yet refreshed.
