Guiyang City's Metro Line 1 will soon feature a new transfer station at Wangchengpo, connecting with the upcoming S1 Line, streamlining travel and enhancing regional connectivity.
The S1 Line, stretching from Zaojiaoba Station in Gui'an New Area to Wangchengpo Station in Nanming district, integrates with lines 1 and 3, forming an interconnected metro network. Passengers at Wangchengpo can quickly transfer between lines via well-marked pathways linking the station's two levels.
For those traveling between Metro Line 2 and S1, a convenient route involves taking Line 2 to West Lincheng Road Station, switching to Line 1 to reach Wangchengpo, then transferring to the S1 Line. Clear signage, including hanging boards and floor markings, will guide passengers seamlessly through the transfer process.
With these upgrades, Guiyang's metro system is poised to offer faster, more efficient travel options. Residents eagerly await the opening of the S1 Line, which promises to transform urban commuting.
