Starting Oct 15, Guiyang Railway will implement its new fourth-quarter train schedule and introduce two "S" trains. These trains, classified as "S" for city domain routes, will connect Guiyangbei Railway Station, the largest rail passenger hub in Southwest China's Guizhou province, with Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, the province's biggest airport. This service marks a significant step in integrating rail and air transportation in Guiyang city.
The two trains will cover a distance of 129 kilometers. Train S5303 departs from Guiyangbei at 7:10, stopping at Guiyang, Huaxi University Town, Gui'an New Area, Jinyang, and Guiyangdong Railway Station before arriving at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 8:44. The total journey time is 1 hour and 34 minutes, with ticket price set at 50 yuan ($7.06).
Train S5308 leaves Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 8:55, stopping at Guiyangdong Railway Station, Baiyunxi, Gui'an New Area, Huchadong, Huaxi University Town, Shuanglongnan, and Guiyang before reaching Guiyangbei Railway Station at 10:33. The journey will take 1 hour and 38 minutes and is also priced at 50 yuan.
These trains significantly enhance connectivity between key transport hubs and improve air-rail transportation links, benefiting passengers traveling between major districts such as Gui'an New Area, Guanshanhu, Wudang, Huaxi, and Baiyun.
