On July 18, flight VJ5337 carrying 168 passengers took off from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport – marking the official resumption of the passenger route between the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province and the coastal city of Nha Trang in Vietnam.

The new international air service is operating once weekly, with the operator saying it offers a convenient connection for travelers.

The Guiyang Border Inspection Station is said to have improved its procedures, allocated sufficient personnel and adjusted inspection channels to ensure smooth operations.

The new and more efficient service is seen as being part of Guiyang's broader efforts to enhance its transportation network and international connectivity.

The resumption of the route is expected to boost tourism and business exchanges between the two regions, further integrating Guiyang into the global travel network.
