The Guiyang-Huangping Highway extension project has now achieved 91-percent overall completion, with two major milestones – the Yongle Tunnel and the Mitangjing Bridge – finished.

Starting from Fengjiazhuang in the Nanming district of Guiyang, the project intersects with the Jianpo-Xiaobi section of the Guiyang Northeast Ring Expressway and connects to the Guiyang-Huangping Highway.

It ends in Dongfeng town, in the Wudang district of Guiyang, linking to Beijing East Road.

The extension spans 8.33 kilometers, featuring nine mainline bridges, seven ramp bridges, one tunnel and two interchange hubs. The bridge-to-tunnel ratio for the mainline is 42 percent.

On completion, the extension is expected to provide the most convenient expressway access to the eastern part of Guiyang – significantly boosting the region's transportation infrastructure and easing travel for residents and visitors alike.
