Free public transport to be provided for Guiyang Marathon participants

From June 15 to 17, runners competing in the 2024 Guiyang Marathon can enjoy free rides on the city's rail transit system by presenting their race bibs in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

To help with the distribution of race materials at the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Center North Plaza, a free shuttle bus will run from Guiyangdong Railway Station from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm.

On arrival at Guiyangdong Railway Station on June 15, runners can follow signs and volunteers to the shuttle bus area, boarding by showing their race confirmation on the Diyisaidao app or other confirmation methods.

On race day, June 16, the city will start trains on Lines 1, 2 and 3 at 5:30 am, allowing participants free rides with their race bibs. Additionally, free shuttle buses will operate from Yunyan and Huaxi districts to the race starting point.

The Yunyan route runs from Weilaifangzhou to Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Center at 5:30 am, while the Huaxi route runs from Huaxi University Town at 5:20 am.

On June 15-17, runners can also enjoy free or discounted entry to various tourist attractions, including Qingyan Ancient Town, Nanjiang Grand Canyon, the Tianhetan Resort, the Taoyuan River Scenic Area the and Wanxiang Hot Spring, by presenting their race bib and ID card.
