Starting June 15, a new nationwide railway schedule will be implemented which will affect the city of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The update will increase train services, including two new round-trip high-speed trains between Guiyangbei Railway Station and Nanchangxi Railway Station.

The Chengdu Railway Bureau will operate 1,762 passenger trains daily – an increase of 27 trains – enhancing transportation capacity in the southwest and boosting economic and social development in Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou.

Key changes include additional high-speed trains on several routes: Four between Chengdudong Railway Station and Jinandong Railway Station, two between Chongqingxi Railway Station and Qingdaobei Railway Station and two between Luzhou Railway Station and Beijingxi Railway Station.

Existing routes will extend further, connecting Chengdudong Railway Station to Beihai , Zhuhai and Zhanjiangxi railway stations, as well as Chongqingbei Railway Station to Huangshanbei Railway Station and Chengdudong Railway Station to Zhangjiagang Railway Station – expanding high-speed rail coverage in the region.

To meet peak travel demand, 50 additional peak lines will be added on routes such as the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-Speed Railway and the Chengdu-Dujiangyan Railway. Weekend and holiday services will see increased frequency, with more early and late trains to accommodate travelers.

New high-speed lines are designed to enhance regional connectivity and travel quality, including cross-line services on the Chengdu-Yibin and the new Chengdu-Kunming railways. Plans for the Banan High-Speed Railway are also underway to further improve service quality and efficiency.

Public service regular speed trains are expected to support rural vitalization, while special tourist trains, like the "Panda Express," will promote tourism and economic growth.
