Things go smoothly for Guiyang Metro Line S1 installations

Staff members from China Railway Electrification Engineering Group reported smooth progress being made on May 10, as they were busy installing and testing equipment at the new Jinzhu Station on the Guiyang Metro Line S1.

The team focused on detailed adjustments and optimizations in the integrated control system – including control rooms and weak current equipment rooms and servers – to ensure that all devices will operate at their very best.

The company is understood to have meticulously planned the construction of Jinzhu Station – emphasizing strict adherence to management requirements and increasing resource allocations to maintain progress.

The installation and power-up of the equipment in the control room and other areas is now complete, with individual systems being tested.

These efforts are expected to lay a solid foundation for the successful completion of the station.

In addition to Jinzhu Station, the control center – another key location on the S1 Line – has also had the successful installation and power-up of its dispatch consoles, large screens and servers.

These steps are understood to be critical for the subsequent system tests and eventual operation of the S1 line.

According to project staff, the latest developments are significant to ensure the on-time and efficient completion of the S1 line, providing strong technical support for its future operations.

The smooth progress in the construction and system installations is said to mark a vital step towards the metro line's successful launch.
