New rapid bus route connects Guiyangbei directly to Yan'an West Road

In response to the commuting needs of residents transferring between Guiyangbei Railway Station (Guiyang railway and Metro Line 1 interchange station) and Yan'an West Road Station (Metro Lines 2 and 3 interchange station) in Guiyang, a new rapid bus route, Route 278, has been launched to provide direct and efficient transportation services.

The route officially started operating on April 11, and includes stops at key locations, such as Qianlingshan Road, for efficient travel between the two major transport hubs.

Operating hours for Route 278 are from 8:00 to 22:00 at Guiyangbei RailwayStation and from 6:30 to 20:00 at Yan'an West Road Station. The departure time from Guiyangbei Railway Station may be extended beyond 22:00 based on passenger demand, ensuring flexible service hours to accommodate commuter needs.

The operational model of Route 278 prioritizes passenger convenience. The fare for this bus is set at 2 yuan ($0.28) per trip, and passengers can pay in cash, transportation QR codes, IC cards and free travel passes.
