Guiyang Railway has recently unveiled 14 additional high-speed trains for the upcoming Qingming holiday, with a capacity to transport over 8,000 passengers per day on average.
The 14 newly added trains include two that will operate on the Guiyang North-Chongqing-Zunyi route. Another six trains will operate on the Guiyang North-Kaiyang route. Additional trains will also be added on the Guiyang North-Tongren, Tongren-Zunyi, Zunyi-Tongren, and Tongren-Guiyang North routes. They will operate on the Shanghai-Kunming, Tongren-Yuping, and Chongqing-Guizhou high-speed rail lines.
In addition to these initial 14 trains, the railway department will also increase the number of high-speed and regular trains based on ticket sales and waiting list data from 12306. This will effectively manage the holiday travel peaks and meet the needs of a large number of passengers during the Qingming holiday period. This proactive approach aims to ensure smooth and efficient travel for passengers during the holiday period.
