The first China-Europe Express freight train to leave Guizhou in 2024 departed from Dulaying Railway Station of Guiyang International Land Port on Jan 18, bound for Europe.

This freight train was loaded with electronic appliances, books, hardware, daily necessities, and other products that were made in Guizhou.

Dulaying Railway Station is a freight station belonging to Guiyangnan Railway Station, which is the largest railway freight marshaling yard in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

To ensure the smooth operation of this freight train, Guiyangnan Railway Station utilized its advantages to coordinate resource allocation and optimized transportation capacity arrangements.

According to Guiyangnan Railway Station, since Guizhou dispatched its first China-Europe Express freight train on Nov 18, 2021, Dulaying Railway Station of Guiyang International Land Port has operated a total of 62 China-Europe Express freight trains by the end of 2023. This enabled over 46,000 metric tons of goods to go global.

At the same time, the categories of goods transported by Guizhou's China-Europe Express freight trains have expanded from only general merchandise to automotive parts, electronic products, household appliances, and industrial equipment.

"Since the opening of the China-Europe Express freight train, it has made up for the shortcomings in Guizhou's international logistics, smoothed the export channel for goods made in Guizhou, and stimulated Guizhou's economic growth," said a staff member of Guiyangnan Railway Station.

In the future, the station will continue to optimize train services, improve transportation efficiency, and help the China-Europe Express trains become a link between Guizhou and the world.
