Starting from Jan 11, the first "D"-titled high-speed train will operate directly from Guiyangbei Railway Station in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to Yinchuan Railway Station in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
This train will cross through five provinces and regions: Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Ningxia. The total journey is 1,925 kilometers, with a travel time of 11 hours and 45 minutes. Currently, tickets for this train can be purchased both online and offline.
The high-speed train will facilitate transportation and significantly reduce travel time between the two cities. It will also promote economic and social development of these two prominent provincial capital cities.
