Metro Line 3 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is expected to open to the public in December.
Since the trial operation commenced over two months ago, all train operation indicators of the line have met national standards and the trial operation work is expected to be completed by Nov 15.
Xie Ke, deputy general manager of Guiyang Metro Line 3 Construction and Operation Co, said more than 97 percent of the main structures of all the stations have been completed, and some auxiliary entrance and exit decorations are underway.
With a total length of 43 kilometers and comprising 29 stations, Guiyang Metro Line 3 starts at Tongmuling Station in Huaxi district and ends at Luowan Station in Wudang district. It intersects with Guiyang Metro Line 1 at Beijing Road Station and with Guiyang Metro Line 2 at Yan'an West Road Station.
After the official opening, the metro trains will reach a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour, completing the entire journey in just an hour, with a daily passenger flow of up to 200,000 people.
