Guiyang Metro Line 3 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently conducted its AW3 load type test.
The test simulated the operation of the electric metro train with a full passenger load by placing sandbags on the carriages. During the operation, technical parameters were monitored and the performance of the electric train during a full load was recorded to ensure that the test results meet the requirements.
The type test is an important prerequisite to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the metro. It plays a crucial role in improving metro operations and ensuring passenger safety.
Currently, Guiyang Metro Line 3 has completed all of the type tests as required. It has been verified that the technical performance of the electric trains meet all of the standards and requirements, demonstrating the trains' ability to operate safely and reliably with a full load of passengers on board.
The metro line is due to officially open to the public by the end of this year.
