Guiyang to adjust bus operations

Guiyang Public Transport Co will soon adjust its bus network to improve urban traffic efficiency, alleviate congestion, and enhance the convenience, accessibility, and speed of bus travel in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. 

The main reason is the upcoming launch of Guiyang Metro Line 3, which will have a significant impact on the passenger flow of buses. As a result, 22 bus routes will be suspended, 10 new routes will be opened, and 20 routes will be optimized and adjusted. 

After the adjustment, the repetition of traffic routes in the central urban area, such as on Ruijin Road, Zhonghua Road, Renmin Avenue, Baihua Avenue, Guanshan East Road and Xintian Avenue, will be reduced. This will alleviate urban traffic congestion and improve the efficiency of road traffic.
