Guiyang launches bus route to connect metro line station to community

Guiyang Public Transportation Co based in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently opened a bus route connecting Guiyang Metro Line 2 and the China Railway International Ecological City residential area. 

The bus route features 10 stations connecting different residential areas including Zhongxing Road station by Guiyang Metro Line 2. 

"The opening of the route is a new measure by Guiyang Public Transportation Co to strengthen the functional complementarity between rail transit and buses," said Wang Qingdong, general manager of Guiyang Qianshuang Urban Public Transportation Co. 

"It also provides seamless transportation services from residential areas to the city center, and from the city center to the suburbs."

Guiyang Public Transportation Co has continuously promoted the connection of buses and metro services. It now has 145 bus routes connecting to 25 stations on Metro Line 1 and 152 routes linked to 30 stations on Metro Line 2.
