Guiyang launches direct bus services to scenic spots

Since the start of this year, Guizhou's tourism industry has experienced rapid growth thanks to the popularity of a village basketball tournament and the Village Super League.

To cater to both local and international tourists and ensure high-quality services, the public transportation group of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has developed 27 bus routes running directly to scenic areas to enhance tourists' travel experiences. 

"With the advent of the tourist season in Guizhou, the newly-opened, dedicated bus lines have received tremendous attention. So far, over 1,000 individuals have booked tickets for buses to watch the Village Super League," said Ma Jinyu, the assistant manager of Guizhou Qianshuang City Public Transportation Co. 

Ma added that a dedicated bus line will soon be launched to transport enthusiasts from Guiyang to Taijiang county for the village basketball tournament. The company is currently conducting research on local tourism and accommodation options to offer more and improve public transportation services that meet the diverse needs of the city's residents.
