Guian Railway Station in Southwest China's Guizhou province has recently welcomed its first batch of cross-city and cross-railway trains since its opening in 2022.

Starting from July 1, seven high-speed trains between Kunming and Shanghai regularly stop at Guian Railway Station, connecting the Guian New Area with cities such as Kunming, Chengdu, and Chongqing.

Integrating the Guian Railway Station into the national railway network is a significant development. It has also connected Guian New Area with the national railway trunk lines.

Representatives from the station stated that implementing Kunming-Shanghai high-speed train services would strengthen the regional benefits of the Guian New Area, offering reliable railway transportation support for its exceptional growth.

The station in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, is a modern and convenient transport hub connecting both the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway and the loop line of the Guiyang urban express railway. Since its opening on March 30, 2022, this station has provided commuters with direct access to 16 stations along the urban express railway. These stations include Guiyang North, Guiyang, Shuanglongnan, Huaxi University City, Huchao East, Jinyang, and Baiyun West.

The station's convenient transportation has benefited residents and promoted regional economic development.
