As the first north-south express railway in Southwest China, the 345-km Chongqing-Guiyang Railway has greatly shortened the travel time between the two cities from 10 hours to just 2 hours.
The railway passes through eight stations in Guizhou and there are rich tourism resources along the route, which draw crowds of visitors from Chongqing during holidays.
