Rail transit Line S1 in Guiyang progresses in construction

The mechanical and electrical installation and decorative project of rail transit Line S1's Shibanzhen Station in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, passed acceptance checks on Feb 28. 

This marked the acceleration of the first phase of the project, which includes mechanical, electrical and decorative construction.

The line starts from Zaojiaoba Station in Guian New Area and ends at Wangchengpo in Nanming district, running through Guian New Area, Huaxi district, the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Nanming district, with a total length of 30.32 kilometers and a total of 13 stations. It is an important passage from Guian New Area to the main urban area of Guiyang. 

The project is jointly constructed by China Railway Construction Kunlun Investment Group Co and subsidiaries of China Railway Construction Corp. So far, more than 80 percent of the civil engineering has been completed, and the main structures of eight stations have been completed.
