The three major railway stations in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, are expected to serve 3.51 million passengers from Jan 7 to Feb 15, which is the travel rush period of the 2023 Spring Festival.

Guiyang, Guiyang North, and Guiyang East railway stations have further tweaked their systems for ticket sales and passenger transportation, strengthened personnel preparation and repaired equipment and facilities so as to create a comfortable travel environment.

During the 40-day travel rush, railway passengers in Guiyang are mainly composed of migrant workers, students, travellers and business people.

The passengers leaving the province are mainly bound for the cities of Jinhua, Yiwu, Shanghai and Nanjing in East China, Guangzhou and Shenzhen in South China, as well as Chengdu and Chongqing in Southwest China.
