Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has cancelled compulsory nucleic acid testing at public transport hubs since Dec 6.

This is to further promote the restoration of normal life and industrial production that were disrupted due to recent COVID-19 epidemic situations in China.

Airports, railway stations, high-speed railway stations, long-distance coach stations, and highway epidemic prevention service sites in the city no longer check passengers' nucleic acid testing results.

In addition, residents in the city will not be asked for nucleic acid testing results when taking buses, taxis or metros.
