Starting Nov 2, passengers will not need to show nucleic acid reports when taking buses and subways in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to the newest virus prevention and control measures implemented by Guiyang.

Passengers currently still need to implement the following regulations:

1. Regular passengers must continue to scan the venue code and check the temperature (below 37.3C) to ride.

2. Regulations for students taking the bus and subway remain unchanged.

Students won't need to scan the venue code if they can present their school badge or student ID card or are wearing a school uniform. They can board buses and subways directly after having their temperature measured below 37.3 C.

3. Elderly people with no smartphone can take buses and subways without scanning the venue code, but must have a temperature below 37.3 C.

4. All passengers must wear masks at all times.
