Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, issued a notice on resuming public transportation, as the new wave of the COVID-19 epidemic has been brought under control.
According to the notice, as of Oct 16, the Baiyun North Road Station, Baiyun Middle Road Station, Yunfeng Avenue Station and Quanhu Park Station on Guiyang Metro Line 2 had resumed normal operation.
On the same day, all bus lines across Baiyun district in the city resumed operation, and those passing high and medium-risk areas in Baiyun district will not stop in said areas. All passengers should take relevant epidemic prevention and control measures.
Taxis from outside Baiyun district will once again be able to operate in the district, but are not allowed to stay in high and medium-risk areas for passenger boarding and drop-off.
Since 2 pm on Oct 16, Guiyang North Station, Jinyang Station, Jinyang South Station, and Jinhua Town Station in Guanshanhu district, as well as Baiyun North Station and Baiyun West Station in Baiyun district, on the loop-line of the Guiyang urban express railway, have resumed normal operation.
