The Guizhou Department of Transportation recently passed the completion inspection for the new Guiyang-Qianxi Highway.
The 78.44-kilometer highway starts from Caoguan town in Baiyun district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, connects the northwest section of the Guiyang Ring Highway and ends at Shibanqiao in Qianxi, a county-level city administered by the city of Bijie.
The road is understood to have met the requisite standards for environmental protection, soil and water conservation and greening in construction, and will soon be opened to the traffic.
