Three major railway stations in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, transported 467,600 passengers from April 28 to May 5.

Respectively, Guiyang North Railway Station sent 343,100 passengers; Guiyang East Railway Station sent 64,600 passengers; and Guiyang Railway Station sent 59,900 passengers.

These railway stations predicted passenger flow during the May Day holiday from April 30 to May 4 based on transportation big data analysis and the epidemic prevention and control measures of various regions, expanding transportation capacity to the cities of Kaili, Tongren, Bijie, and Zunyi to meet passenger travel needs.

The stations strictly implemented local epidemic prevention and control policies, strengthened staff training in epidemic prevention and control work, carried out disinfection and sterilization at key venues regularly, and ensured good ventilation during the eight-day period.

COVID-19 protection tips were posted in waiting rooms at the stations.
