Guiyang North Railway Station in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently launched a new epidemic prevention and control system, according to the High-speed Railway Economic Belt Service Center of Guanshanhu District on April 11.

The center set up 22 health code and itinerary code examination machines as well as 80 mobile identification terminals in the railway station.

Passengers using the new system can upload a screenshot of their itinerary code on their day of departure and fill in some basic user information to automatically generate a QR code for health declaration.

Passengers with abnormal health codes and itinerary codes will be warned at check-in gates and mobile terminals, and be guided to the epidemic prevention and control reception counter to receive further health examination.

The new system will accurately identify the health status of inbound passengers within 14 days, further optimizing and improving the epidemic prevention and control work at the railway station and greatly improving passenger flow.
