The loop-line of the Guiyang urban express railway in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, underwent a major adjustment at 00:00 on April 8.
The adjustment focuses on optimizing the number of trains as well as their operating duration and time in order to better meet the needs of travelers.
The daily number of electric multiple unit (EMU) trains has increased to 28, 11 more than the number in operation from March 30 to April 7. The EMU trains run from 6:18 to 21:03.
After route adjustments, the quickest trip around Guiyang and Guian New Area has been reduced from 1 hour and 26 minutes to 1 hour and 12 minutes.
The fares for the loop-line of the Guiyang urban express railway remain unchanged, and flexible floating fares are still in effect according to the train's operating time, direction, stops and passenger flow.
