english.guiyang.gov.cn|Updated: 2022-02-25

The Guiyang Traffic and Transportation Law Enforcement Team will use electronic monitoring equipment for the first time to capture illegal taxis in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The move is meant to further standardize transportation and create a safe and orderly traffic environment.

Two sets of multipurpose electronic equipment will be installed at Dagao Bridge and Zunyi Road in Nanming district to capture photographs and collect evidence of things like parking illegally, illegal operation and dangerous driving behavior.

The team will gradually install more electronic monitoring equipment at major passenger terminals and on important roads so as to strengthen law enforcement.
