The Guiyang Railway Section has been running overnight electric multiple-unit trains since Feb 5 in response to increased passenger flow from Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to East and South China after the Spring Festival holiday.

After analyzing the train operation map and passenger volume, several special high-speed trains have been added for Guizhou-born migrant labors working outside the province, as well as 21 overnight electric multiple-unit trains, which are expected to transport 13,000 passengers.

Earplugs and eye masks have been available free of charge to passengers in need on the overnight trains.

The conductors and attendants have also provided services such as train board guidance, luggage placement, body temperature measurement, sterilization, and wake-up announcements when passengers arrive at their stations.
