Guiyang metro station opens doorways as underground passages

Guiyang Urban Rail Transit Group Co opened the four exits at Penshuichi Station on Metro Line 2 as public passages on Nov 13.

The E, F, G, and K exits are now open 24 hours a day to alleviate traffic congestion at the intersection of Renmin Avenue and Yan'an Middle Road by allowing people to cross under the street. 

An additional three night security guards and one cleaner will be on duty every day to strengthen the security and cleanliness of the passageways.
