Guiyang's rail transit project lauded for integration of IT, manufacturing

A rail transit industrial control safety and protection capability development project by Guiyang Urban Rail Transit Group Co based in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently selected as a national pilot demonstration project for the integrated development of new-generation information technology and manufacturing in 2021.

The selection by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology aims to promote the in-depth integration of new-generation information technology with the manufacturing industry, and accelerate the innovation and application of manufacturing technology, models, and operation.

Guiyang's project was the only rail transit project selected for industrial information security capability improvement, and Guiyang Urban Rail Transit Group Co was the only rail company among selected. 

The company will next continue to improve digitization, networking, and intelligence in the rail transit industry, build a corresponding technical protection system and safety management system based on its business characteristics, and improve safety risk detection, prevention, and mitigation in terms of networks, hosting, equipment, data, and supply chain security so as to ensure the stable operation of the rail transit industrial control system.
