New smart parking project in Guiyang near completion

The indoor garage of the smart parking building on Yan'an West Road in the city of Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province is near completion, according to Guiyang Communications Investment Development Group Co on Oct 20.

The smart parking building with three floors underground and six floors above ground has 653 parking spaces, including 485 indoor and 159 outdoor parking spaces.

The indoor garage of the building is constructed by Guiyang Smart Parking Industry Investment Development Co, a subsidiary of Guiyang Communications Investment Development Group Co.

The civil engineering and indoor installation of the building has been completed, and the installation of outdoor parking equipment glass curtain walls is underway.

Liu Rong, chairman of Guiyang Communications Investment Development Group Co, said that the smart parking building is located near the Yan'an West Road Metro Station with dense traffic facilities, and its completion and commissioning will improve the city's traffic environment and enhance the city's service quality, as it offers more parking options for surrounding residents and allows for easy travel via multiple modes of transportation.
